Individual Therapy

We all face challenges that can feel overwhelming. Whether it's struggling with anxiety or depression, working through a difficult life transition, embarking on a journey to recovery, or coping with the aftermath of trauma, it can be tough to cope on our own. That's where individual therapy comes in. By providing a safe and supportive space for you to share your thoughts and feelings, individual therapy can help you heal old wounds, learn new skills for managing difficult emotions, repair relationships, improve your self esteem, move forward in your recovery, and ultimately thrive. No matter what you're struggling with, there is hope for a better tomorrow. With the help of a qualified therapist, you can begin the journey towards becoming your best self. Reach out today to see how we can help you.

Couples Therapy

Communication is essential in any relationship, and it can be especially challenging for couples. Resentments can build up over time, and it can be difficult to express your needs. Couples therapy provides a safe space to communicate openly with one another. Through therapy, couples can learn to listen to each other more effectively and to resolve conflict in a constructive way. Trust can also be rebuilt through therapy, creating a stronger foundation for the relationship. As a result of treatment, couples often find themselves having deeper, more loving connections. Start your journey to a more fulfilling relationship today.

Family Therapy

Family life is often hectic, and it can be difficult to find time to connect with one another. When problems arise, it can be even harder to communicate effectively. Family therapy provides a safe and neutral space for families to talk openly with one another. It can help to identify negative communication patterns and provide new tools to resolve conflict. Family therapy can help to build/rebuild feelings of stability and support within a family system. By working together with a therapist, families can learn how to better understand and support one another, ultimately leading to a stronger and more cohesive family unit. If you think you might benefit from support, contact us directly.

Teen Therapy

Our teenage years are some of the most difficult transitional years. We start to earn more independence, but also have more responsibilities, pressure, stress, and rapidly cycling intense emotions. On top of that, finding a therapist that both a teenager and his/her/their parent trusts can be especially trying. In teen therapy, we help teens to improve their emotional regulation and interpersonal communication skills, in addition to helping them find their sense of self and honor their values. It can be difficult to grow up, but with the right support, it doesn’t have to be overwhelming and chaotic. Find out if we are a good fit to help you or your loved one by reaching out today.

Group Therapy

Our intention with group therapy is to create a space where you don’t have to feel alone. Group therapy provides community, connection, & a safe space to improve interpersonal skills, a space to decrease shame, & opportunities to learn from others. BURNEY THERAPY GROUP runs multiple weekly group therapy sessions on topics ranging from general support, to improving self-esteem, to parenting support, to body image healing. Please contact us directly to learn more about groups we are currently offering.

Parenting Support

Being a parent is one of the most rewarding, but also challenging roles that a person can have. It can be difficult to know how to best support and guide our kids, especially as they go through their teenage years. We can easily find ourselves feeling lost, like a failure, and overwhelmed. Parenting support sessions can be a great way to gain practical tools and advice for navigating these challenges. In these sessions, you will learn how to improve communication with your kids/teenagers, hold boundaries, and build trusting relationships. These sessions provide an invaluable service in helping you to feel supported and empowered in your role as a parent. Reach out today to learn more.

Online Support Membership

At BURNEY THERAPY GROUP, we know that sometimes you need support, but don’t have the time or ability to start group or individual therapy right away. This led to the development of our Online Support Membership. Becoming a member provides you exclusive access to psychoeducation and resources on topics ranging from depression, to body image struggles, to relational difficulties, to obsessive compulsive disorder, to eating disorders, and much more. With these resources, you can begin your journey of healing and recovery no matter where you are at. If you’d like to learn more about this type of support, reach out today.

Enhanced Support Services

The standard therapy model is not always enough; sometimes patients are looking for more support, and sometimes patients are looking for more individualized care. As such, we have developed an Enhanced Support Services Model.

The Enhanced Support Services Model allows us to offer more intensive care, either in the comfort of your own home(s) or at our office. These personalized services also allow for us to meet the needs of high-profile clientele, who might be particularly concerned about discretion and privacy.

Via enhanced support services, therapeutic packages and a-la-carte services are available, and include options for: in-home sessions, access to a 24/7 private emergency room, on-call therapeutic support, check-in sessions, case management, treatment team meetings, comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans, en-vivo exposure therapy, therapeutic travel companion, & interventions for higher levels of care. Each intervention is tailored to meet your specific needs.
